Barry Buchanan
Barry has a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and has worked for the CRA’s predecessor for 3 years and as a Financial Accountant for Transport Canada. He then joined the B.C. Conference Treasury Department. He has completed the CSI Canadian Securities Course.
Barry is a retired teacher living in Abbotsford, BC with his wife of 39 years. They have two grown children. Erin, a Oregon Speech Pathologist living in Battle Ground, WA., USA. Karl is a Registered Nurse, pursuing a Law Degree in Edmonton, Alberta.
He has had an investing interest for over 50 years and brings that background with his happy retirement and commitment to Jesus Christ to sharing this seminar at Camp Meeting.
The seminar will present money and financial management strategies within the Seventh-day Adventist perspective. A balance of Biblical and practical financial advice will be presented. Topics to be highlighted are planning, budgeting, saving, and investing.
